My Story. My professional experience includes an eclectic journey through entertainment, tech, finance, international development, and wellness.
I went back to school to study career development because I knew there was more to this field than all the pop psych advice I saw floating around online. While I am all for "cultvating a positive mindset", and have taught and practiced yoga and meditation for 20+ years, I am also a devotee of direct, intelligent, unabashedly practical action. After many years struggling to balance being a working actor with more traditional jobs in corporate and startup environments around the world, I couldn't find career or branding advice relevant to me or anyone straddling more than one professional identity. I kept wondering: What about those of us who don't always wake up amidst sunshine and unicorns every morning, eager to leap out of bed and manifest our destiny? What about those of us who don't tick all the traditional boxes? Who do more than one thing? Who prioritize art or activism or travel or entrepreneurship even when they are not always lucrative or stable or logical pursuits? Don't we deserve fulfilling careers, too? What about everyone who thought they knew what they wanted to do with their lives, but after years of pursuing it are finding it's not what they expected or hoped and don't know how to move forward? What about everyone who never really knew what they wanted to do but have stumbled into whatever they're in and don't know how to get out? I built this practice for all those people. Welcome. |
